Israeli-based startup Sirin Labs has launched a new device, and it is touted to be the “world’s first most secure Blockchain-powered smartphone”. Sirin Labs was founded in 2014, and in 2016 launched the Solarin, a highly secure, high-end smartphone that incorporates state-of-the-art hardware and software security to provide 24/7 cyber protection, including a private zone for encrypted calls and messages. The company is calling it Finney, after late Hal Finney – the first person to make a Bitcoin transaction. Finney, claimed to be the world’s first blockchain-based smartphone, comes with top-of-the-line specifications, a second screen that slides up for cryptocurrency transactions, and a software layered with tough security. There functionality of Andriod oprating system, plus a suite of cyber security technologies, giving users safe and reliable access to the blockchain. This device is now expected to arrive in select markets in November.The Finney is designed to make cryptocurrency easy to use for blockchain users as well as experts. The targeted price of this phone is $1000.The most interesting part of this phone is its second touchscreen, which measures in at two inches and slides up from the body of the device. Sirin Lab describes this second touchscreen, allowing you to securely transact with crypto users. Shield OS is one of the feature designed to provide a built-in cold-storage crypto wallet (with IP address hiding and MAC address randomization), as well as secure P2P resource sharing. The built-in wallet is protected by the company’s BlockShield technology, which provides a secure area protected by a physical switch, such that when the wallet is not in use, it is physically and electronically disconnected from the network. BlockShield also includes a cyber-protection suite with a behavior-based Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), blockchain- based full tampering proof, and three-factor authentication (biometric, lock pattern, and behavioral), and provides secure communications as well as an application container. The wallet is designed to support multiple accounts and various cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, Dash, Zcash, Ripple, Stratis, and Dogecoin, in addition to Sirin Labs’ SRN.

Overall, that is a pretty solid flagship phone. The interesting part is that they put fingerprint sensor under the display section like a display reader and it is the ultra secure fingerprint sensor.
