Finally Xiaomi introduced Redmi Note 7 mobile with 48 megapixel of camera and 4,000 mAh of battery. This will be the first budget phone with high impressive features. The Redmi Note 7 features a dual rear camera setup with a primary 48-megapixel image sensor with an f/1.8 lens and secondary 5-megapixel shooter to add depth effect to your photos. The camera uses 0.8 micron pixels for shooting in good light and 1.6 micron pixels which is equivalent to taking pictures on a 12 megapixel camera. The Note 7 relies on a 13-megapixel front AI camera to help you to get perfect selfies. The sensor is slightly larger than those used in standard smartphone.
The Note 7 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest mid-range ARM-based SoC, the Snapdragon 660. The processor is designed to bring flagship performance to the mid-range smartphones. The fingerprint sensor is present at the back of the mobile and the dual camera are stacked vertically. The Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ (2340×1080 pixels) LTPS display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a waterdrop styled notch on top. It is also equipped with a USB Type-C port and houses a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is also comes with Corning Glorilla Glass 5, 84 percent NTSC colour gamut and 2.5D curved glass protection. The company claims that the experience is elevated to AI software features with protection. Other features include a quick charger, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi and MIUI 9 based Oreo.
The price of Redmi Note 7 is $150 (Rs 10,500 approx) for the 3GB RAM variant with 32GB storage and $175 (Rs 12,500 approx) for the 4GB RAM version with 64GB storage, and $200 (Rs 14,500 approx) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage option. The smartphone is expected to go on sale from January 15 in China and will be made available in Twilight Gold, Fantasy Blue, and Bright Black colour options. Expect the handset to arrive in India soon.
